Hello
everyone! It’s been a long time right I don’t post something here. So now, I
want to tell you about my new school and how my life there. Before that, I think
you already know from my first post where is my JHS. Yes, I’ve graduated from
Taruna Bakti Junior High School, now I’m in 3 Senior High School. Actually
there is my dream school, which is the best school in my lovely city Bandung.
Fortunately me, finally!
Before
joining the real activities at school, as same as other school, first we need
to ‘introduced’ to our school called MOPD and POST. One day before, I think
this will be scary because in other school, often many seniors will be mad to
new students or ask for something yeah I’m sorry to say, something stupid, for
train new student’s mental. But my thought was wrong in 3 SHS. That is not
their culture. I never expected, MOPD and POST was really fun and educating. I
learned to socialize, and I got many new friends. This activity go on one week.
Then the ‘day’ came. The day that
maybe can changes my life. You know what day is it? Monday. Yes, my first day
in class, studying in my new school. Huft finally, I stepped my feet at Senior
High School. I felt so happy, but in other side I felt lil bit nervous and
awkward. I was afraid how should I do. I just know 3 person in my new class,
which from the same JHS with me. I still remember, I came 10 minuites before
the bell rang and I sat with random person who now be one of my bestfriends.
She is Dewi Patresia Sihombing. We introduced ourself to each other. Honestly I
started feel more comfortable since I know Dewi. You know that feel when
finally you get a new friend, like “Be calm, you’ve got a partner”.
Oh yes, I need to tell you about
this. Actually this is the first time I study in government’s (sorry I don’t
know what “sekolah negri” called in English hehe) school. I always study in
private owned school since I was kinderganten. Many people said that study
there will be like hundreds time harder than private school because we must
competiting with other smart student. We must be more independent and study
ourself harder. Honestly I feel anxious, I’m afraid how if I can’t finish the
school? How can I get the best score? Am I must sacrifice my rest time for
study? Am I will be like nerd that always brings books everywhere? And other
negative thinks. I also discussing about this with my friends that have same
thinking with me. But I always have positive think, I believe everything will
be alright. Just do it with all of your heart.
Then after
2 weeks I finally know my whole classmates names. THEY’RE SO FUN! Each person
has their unique personality. Girls, although boys, they easily to talk and
make friends. I love my class, X SCIENCE 8. We have our own class name,
Sapasuda (Sapuluh Dalapan Sugoii Edass) hahaha! We have our own blog too, www.10dandelapan.blogspot.com .
We are different, but we can do well cooperation, because we ore one and solid :)
Remember my
worries at the first day? Believe or not, after go through for 1 moth here, now
I never think like that anymore. Yes honestly I confess that to got a good
score here is hard. Lot of task, lot of test, lot of homework, etc. Harder than
before I expected. Everyone here is very smart, I feel like an elephant among
dinosaurs. I confess too that it’s very hard to divide our time for education
and organization/social. Life here is complicated, but also fun! I’m so excited
to pass through my days here. I had many new experience and ’point of view’ here.
There’s no nerd guys, but there’s smart and active students. Teachers here are unique
too, I can found from funny to serious kind of teacher here. Although 3 SHS is
the best school and all students here is smart, we are same as other student.
We are not too ambitious but we’re not too lazy too. Sometimes we complain when
we had lot of hard homework, test, or anything. We sleep, awake, study, eat, go
home, rest, socialize, play, do our hobbies, hang out, until make an big event
like other school did. Yes, one more time, we are same as other student.
I love this
school and the cool educating culture inside. We have 7S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa,
Sopan, Santun, Sigap, Semangat) for built our character. We always sing
national song and pray together before study too. There’s no bullying or
seniority here. I feel comfortable to learn here and built my personality here,
make a ‘better me’.
I hope this Senior High School time will be
the best part of my life! :)
